Privacy
Kioku keeps what it needs to sign you in and show your progress, and nothing else.
What is stored
- Your email address and how you sign in: a password, kept only as a one-way hash, or your Google account (its id, name, picture link and sign-in tokens).
- Your learning history: every answer, setting and note, so your progress follows you between devices.
- A cookie that keeps you signed in. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- Sign-in and mail attempts per IP address, for two days, to stop abuse.
- A copy of your history in this browser, so Kioku works offline. Signing out removes it.
Why
To sign you in, to schedule your reviews and to send confirmation and reset mails (through Resend). Nothing is sold or shared for any other purpose.
Deleting it
The account page lets you download everything (Export my data) and delete your account. Deleting removes your email, sign-in methods, sessions and learning history at once.
